We got another knee slapper of a comedy show for you with headliner Andrew Albert on Sept.30th at 8:00PM at the Pioneer Bar in the West Island.
Andrew got his stand-up comedy career started in 1997 as a dare at the Yuk Yuk’s in Windsor, Ontario. Since then he has entertained audiences from Florida to B.C. with his tell it like it is style.
Andrew has performed twice at the Just for Laughs festival and has appeared at the Boston Comedy festival. His material has been heard on countless radio morning shows, XM radio as well as on CBC. He most recently was featured on CBC television in a stand-up comedy showcase, “The New West”

Hosting the evening is Abdul Butt, He’s a comedian, writer, producer and actor most recognizable from his interviews as a fake news correspondent on CBC’s This Hour Has 22 Minutes.
Butt’s been nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award, Writers Guild of Canada Award, performed standup at multiple festivals including Hubcap and OFF JFL. He can be heard on CBC’s The Debaters and recently was hand-picked at the Just For Laughs Festival by Kevin Hart for his new “Laugh Out Loud” network in collaboration with Lionsgate Films.
The feature for the night is Pantelis. Born and raised in Montreal's famous "Parc-Extension" neighborhood, comedy came natural to Pantelis; Most of the people around there have a great sense of humor. Pantelis is a regular at Montreal's premier comedy club, The Comedy Nest. He has been a staple of the Montreal comedy scene ever since being selected in the annual "Young Guns of Comedy". Performing across North America, he somehow finds the time to produce two hit podcasts (The 4H Podcast , The Pantelis Podcast). Known for his cadence and quality of writing, Pantelis is also exceptional at yelling racial epithets while stuck in traffic. His comedy has graced the stages of legendary clubs such as The Ice House, The Comedy Store and The Comedyworks.

Opening up the show is Sarah Quinn. Sara Quinn is a PhD student by day, stand-up comedian by night. Based in Montreal, she performs regularly at the Comedy Nest and ComedyWorks and is a fan favourite on the cult comedy game show, BattleCOM. Her jokes have taken her to faraway and exciting places like New York City, Austin, Texas, and London…Ontario. She has performed at Montreal Sketchfest, the Montreal Fringe Festival, Montreal Comiccon, and various academic conferences. She’s currently writing a PhD thesis on rejection, and really, really wants you to like her.
